One suspect is in custody, and unknown number of others still at large after a shooting around midnight last night.
Dixon Police PIO Lt. Nathan Steele reports, Dixon Police heard shots being fired at 11:48 p.m. Sept. 1, at an apartment complex on the 200 block West H St.
The officer witnessed the suspect fleeing from the scene and a pursuit ensued.
He explained that a large perimeter was set up in effort to apprehend the suspects, with multiple law enforcement agencies, including a police helicopter, responding.
Jason Wanderstadt, 35, of Dixon was detained on Madden Court while, at this point, others are still at large.
"Because the investigation is ongoing and highly violent, we are limited to information that can be released,” Steele reports the suspect in custody is a 36-year old male Dixon resident and more suspects are being investigated.
Officials say a 30-year-old male Dixon resident was shot in the arm. EMS crews treated the victim's non-life threatening injuries and transported to Vacaville Kaiser.
Wanderstadt was booked in the Solano County jail on numerous felonies.
