Dixon Man & Woman Arrested in Connection with Fairfield Shooting, Along with Vacaville Man

Deonta King was arrested for suspicion of attempted murder and weapons charges for the May incident; Lamia King for alleged child endangerment and weapons as she was with Deonta during his Friday arrest.

Fairfield police have arrested three people as a result of an investigation into a shooting that occurred earlier this month.

Two people were injured in the May 1 shooting in the area of Willow Lane and Balsam Court, next to Laurel Creek Park, according to police.

 One victim, a 27-year-old Fairfield resident, was shot in the hip and the hand, while the second, a 29-year-old Fairfield resident, was shot in the torso.

Both survived their injuries.

Police have identified and arrested two suspects in the shooting, 26-year-old Terry McClure, a Vacaville resident and 28-year-old Deonta King, a Dixon resident.

McClure was arrested in Fairfield on Thursday, and was found armed with a semi-automatic handgun and in the company of a 6-year-old child.

King was arrested Friday, and was also found in possession of a handgun and in the company of a 4-year-old child and a woman identified as Lamia King, a 26-year-old Dixon resident.

Both McClure and Deonta King were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and weapons charges, while Lamia King was arrested on suspicion of weapons charges and child endangerment.
