Dixon Fire Welcomes New Recruits To Protect And Serve Our Community

At a badge pinning and swearing in ceremony Wednesday evening, the Dixon Fire Department, led by Fire Chief Aaron McAlister, opened the firehouse to three new full-time firefighter-paramedics and 12-volunteer probationary firefighters.

Joe Scarrott, Justin Sparrow, and Randy Webster all began their Dixon Fire careers as volunteers two-and-a-half years ago, working at local private ambulance companies prior to their hire.

As part of the Dixon volunteer firefighter program, the following probationary recruits were also sworn in:

Gerald Jacobs
Derrick Johnson
Markus Lincoln
James Moore
Dustin Nicholas
Adrian Pimentel
Cody Schaake
Corey Scmidt
