Lots of loud house parties this weekend keep Dixon police busy

Friday, April 6:

A theft was reported in the 1200 block of Stratford Avenue on Friday around 5:30 pm.

At 11pm, a man reported his car stolen in the 600 block of South First Street. He flagged down an officer to report the theft, but then realized that he had forgotten where he had parked it.

At around 10:30 pm, Dixon police responded to a reports of loud noise near Stratford Avenue and Newgate Way.

At 1am, a disturbance (fight) was reported in the 800 block of North Adams.  Moses Garibay, 25, of Dixon was subsequently arrested for public intoxication.

Saturday, April 7:

Dixon police responded to an argument in the 1300 block of N. Lincoln Street around 10am.

At 11:15am, there was a traffic collision in the 400 block N. First Street.

At 4:30pm, loud music was reported in the 200 block of Foster Lane. 

An hour later, a disturbance was reported at Northwest Park. No further details were available.
