Couple Targeted In Robbery Arrested Along With Robber
Police searched a Fairfield home that had been targeted in a robbery Friday and arrested the residents after finding marijuana, guns, ammunition, body armor and stolen property, according to police.
Raymond Leaks, 44, was targeted for a robbery in the home he shares with Aiesha Scott, 34, in the 700 block of East Tabor Avenue at about 11:30 a.m., police said.
The suspected robber, identified as Bronshea Alexander, 19, of Fairfield, got into a fight with Leaks.
While they were fighting, Scott managed to grab Alexander's gun away from him and tried to hide it, police said.
But when police arrived they got a search warrant for the home and found a 22-caliber handgun, marijuana, ammunition and body armor, police said.
Officers arrested all three people and booked them into Solano County Jail. Alexander was booked on suspicion of robbery; Scott was booked on suspicion of concealing evidence; Leaks was booked on suspicion of possession of marijuana for sale, being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of body armor and possession of stolen property.
