It's the amazing Rugby Program which now put Dixon top of the Nation. Dixon Varsity Gold beat the Nations defending champions Jesuit High School Varsity Rugby Team recently after 6 years of hard fighting and pure determination and it finally paid off. Congratulations to Coach Rob Salabar and the coaching staff. With this program it is keeping our kids off the streets and getting involved with crime.
Looking forward to the California State Cup this coming week end and the biggest event which is the USA Nationals High School Rugby Championship in Utah, May 18 & 19 2012. Only 8 teams picked nation wide to compete for the National Champion this year. We need your support Dixon and good luck to our kids. Go Dixon!

Didn't O'Reilly's just close on the other side of town? There's a 'for lease' sign on the building.

Great to see the 4th graders getting ready for their 5th grade camp at Alliance Redwoods. I took myRead More 6th graders there for many years and Alliance has an outstanding program that keeps the kids focused on environmental education and stewardship. The night hike through the redwoods was always their favorite (along with the zip line). Note: No need to bring snacks as the dining hall meals has everything you will need, but you may want to bring some extra money for the gift shop. Dan Mattingly/Retired Teacher

Thanks for the post Dean. The Dixon VFW has contributed several thousand dollars so far to bothRead More homes in Dixon and will be contributing a lot more in the future for these Vets. The housing program is managed by the North Bay Coummity Action Council (formerly known as the Fairfield/Suisun CAC). The Vets are very grateful for all the community support.
