The paint on the old Hometown Market site might look a little unfamiliar to those who are used to seeing the brownish colors of the old Hometown Market that for the past 25 years had occupied the building.
But ever since the owners of the popular grocery store, Richard and Dennis Garcia, closed down Hometown Market back in November, Sacramento-based Viva Supermarket owners have had their eye on the building.
The photo attached to this story was taken earlier this month and as you can tell, the colors resemble those that adorn the other Viva Supermarket stores in the Sacramento area.
The market is in the process of becoming the new tenant and it is likely that they will be opening the doors on the new supermarket by the time the summer hits Dixon.
If you had it your way, what type of business would you like to see go in that location?
