Jose Luis Moreno, 48 was born on Oct. 7, 1963 and passed away April 28, 2012. He was born in Tijuana, Mexico, moved to Los Angeles when he was five years old and has been a resident of Dixon since 1995.

He is survived by his wife Maria de Los Angeles Moreno. His children include:  Juan Carlos Moreno, 26, Luis Alberto Moreno, 24, Sebastian Moreno, 23, Jonathan Moreno, 22, Elida Moreno, 19 and Macedonio Moreno, 11.

He is also survived by daughter-in -law Meghan Michelle Moore, wife of Juan Carlos and grand children Lilyana Marlee, 4 and Uriah, 18 months and daughter-in-law Megan Nicole Moreno wife of Luis and grandson Max Cruz, 17 months.

He is also survived by his mother Virginia Moreno sisters Lourrdes and Alicia Moreno brother Guadalupe Moreno.

There will be a viewing at the from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 3, and the funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 4. There will be a reception/celebration of life at the Dixon Senior Center at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 4.

Jose was an active participant in his church and with the Dixon Toys for Tots program for many years.
