Special to Dixon Patch
This morning the was honored to participate in the annual Special Olympics Torch run in Dixon.
We received the torch from the Solano Sheriff’s Office at Batavia and West A Street and ran with the torch to the police department.
The torch was then transported by vehicle to Davis where it will be used at the opening ceremonies this weekend. This is a great event for some very special people and the DPD was honored to be a part of it and show our support.
