Time to Help YOUR Local Dixon Fire Department on a Special Project!
The Dixon Fire Department needs a GOOD DRIVER to assist a short term volunteer project involving updating current and old addresses for jurisdiction purposes.
The has a special project for someone who is familiar with Dixon and it's surrounding backroads. It's time for the D.F.D. to update current addresses for mapping and jurisdiction purposes. You will need a valid California Driver’s License, current CA DMV print out of your driving record along with proof of valid car insurance as you will be in use of a city vehicle. Having a G.P.S. handy would help with the new streets and back-country roads.
More details will be provided by the D.F.D once a volunteer/s are further along in the application process.This is a 30-40 hour commitment until project completed. The actual amount of hours weekly will be determined once volunteer/s placed.
