Public Works/Parks/Maintenance- Volunteer to "Spruce" up YOUR City!

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

The Public Works and Parks/Maintenance departments are in need of help with maintenance, landscaping and general carpentry work throughout our city parks, recreation areas, local streets, and City Hall/City garage. Volunteers would be dealing with physical labor as well as primarily working outside. These positions also deal with prolonged periods of standing, stooping, reaching, crawling, climbing and moderate to heavy lifting. (Up to 50lbs). All volunteers need to be 18yrs of age or older and available to work weekdays.

We are looking for volunteers with the following skills:

General carpentry, painting, landscaping and general maintenance skills.
