Dixon's Force of Habit Tapped to Celebrate Legendary Rock Venue's Anniversary

Whisky-A-Go-Go.

The name conjures up memories of legendary bands.  The Doors started at the Whisky.  Hendrix, Led Zeppelin and The Who all played there.

It's one of the iconic rock clubs in the world.  As Beatles fans remember The Cavern, fans of American rockers remember The Whisky.

This year, the Whisky's celebrating it's 50th year with a number of special concerts.   They're inviting back old, beloved bands, cover bands who rocked the house and bands they've discovered only recently.

Dixon's own Force of Habit fits into the latest category.  Invited back for an anniversary extravaganza, they're part of an amazing lineup with headliners:  Legendary Texas blues/rock band Junkyard.

MotoChrist, Scarlet Vice, (Dixon's own) gForce of Habit, and Junkyard at the legendary Whisky a Go Go, 8901
Sunset Blvd, Hollywood. It's the Whisky's anniversary year so they're only inviting the best. March 1st, Dixon's Force of Habit are opening for Texas Blues-rock legends Junkyard. Tickets are available from FoH's manager, Phillip Mendisco, band mom Patty or the Biningers. This will be Force of Habit's last appearance with their current lineup.

Thanks Ian and a BIG thank you to everyone in town who is heading down to show Hollywood how we do it in Northern California. The carpooling and accomadations are close to gone already. We were offering a small deal to the under 20 crowd who may not have a car or a little short on cash for a ride there and back, a ticket to the show, and a place to sleep somewhere in a house rented just above sunset blvd. in the hollywood hills. The bedrooms are for the grown ups :) The Band has around a dozen tickets left. This is by far the biggest road trip we have ever been on. The Whisky turns 50. Incredible historic venue, 50th anniversary rock and roll spectacular, and truck loads of Dixons rowdiest. What could happen? 707 301 6077 or mendisco@att.net for ticket info
