Tremont Second Graders Send Thank You Notes To Santa For Christmas

These letters are sure to warm your heart this holiday.

One class of Dixon elementary students didn't ask Santa for new toys, phones, clothes or puppies this year, instead, sending him Christmas letters wishing him a happy holiday, complimenting his work, and appreciating what he has given in the past.

Ms. Nicole Dubois' second-grade class wanted to do things a little differently this year with the letters they packaged up and mailed to the North Pole, recognizing Santa for his hard work.

"Thank you for my toys, I like Christmas," wrote Alex, "You should see my tree, it has a lot of ornaments on it, they are so beautiful, We love to make cookies and leave some for you," expressed Malaina.

"I am so proud of these kids," smiled Dubois, "These were all their ideas, they did such a great job."

"You are the nicest person in the world," Hannah told Santa, "I love the toy you got me, you're the best, your music is the best I ever heard," Andy said.

Students complimented his suit, told him about their family traditions, asked about Mrs. Clause, wished him safe travels on Christmas, and even asking Santa to remember that "Christmas is God's birthday".

In the words of Miranda, "Thank you for coming to our town Santa."
