Dixon Library Offers Incentives For Students to Read During the Winter Break

Sign your elementary students up for a fun winter reading program, sponsored by the Dixon Public Library!

The Dixon Public Library hopes students find time to read during their winter school-vacation, offering an incentive program to encourage literacy during the break.

Register for the Winter Reading Program, Dec. 20-Jan 10
Students, grades K-6, will be awarded a free book in exchange for reading 100-pages or two books per week, during the three-week break. Each week students bring their reading log to the library, play a game and win a prize.

The library will also host a free puppet show on January 10 beginning at 1 p.m. to conclude the program.

Stop by the Dixon Public Library for more details.
