13 Days of Halloween -Cover Love

A Little Bit of Cover Love

Each I will be posting a soon-to-be released book cover that is so amazing, intriguing or horifically beautiful that I can't wait to get my hands on it to read.

This week's cover is:

Between the Spark and the Burn
expected publication August 2014 from Harper-teen

Goodreads description: Freddie once told me that the Devil created all the fear in the world.
But then, the Devil once told me that that it's easier to forgive someone for scaring you than making you cry.
The problem with River West Redding was that he'd done both to me.

The crooked- smiling liar River West Redding, who drove into Violet's life one summer day      and shook her world to pieces, is gone. Violet and Neely, River's other brother, are left to worry- until they catch a two a.m. radio program about strange events in a distant mountain town. They take off      in search of River but are always a step, finding instead frenzied towns, witch hunts, and a wind-whipped islandwith the thrum of something strange and dangerous just under the surface. It isnt long before Violet begins to wonder if Neely, the one Redding brother she through trustworthy, has been hiding a secret of his own...

Between the Spark and the Burn is the heart-pounding conclusionto the lavishly rendered, darkly romantic, and beautifully unsettling Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea.

My thoughts: Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, is one of my top pick reads for 2013. A story that is a beautifully as it is horrific. It is a gripping gothic horror unlike any other. Please see my review in August's posts.
