Welcome Miss California to Dixon's Grillin & Chillin Car & Truck Show

Dixon’s Grillin & Chillin Car & Truck Show proudly welcomes
Miss California’s Juliana Wynkoop to be our master of ceremonies.

Juliana Wynkoop is an adventurous 20 year old studying International Business, Marketing, and Spanish at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. A strong advocate for cultural awareness, Juliana spends her time tutoring ESL students, speaking 4 languages, and preparing for her year long trip across South America this next school year. She hopes to use her talent of public speaking to share her voice with the world as she advocates for women's equality in the work place, immigration rights, and inner-beauty to young girls.  During her time abroad she will be studying Latin American market trends, while also setting up workshops for women on personal development skills, such as public speaking, to give them access to higher paying jobs.

Juliana currently holds the title of Miss California for National American Miss, an organization dedicated to celebrating America's greatness and encouraging future leaders. NAM's program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise, presentation, and community service. Emphasis is based on the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills, fostering good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals.  While also making appearances and volunteering, Juliana is also looking forward to competing at Nationals in Disneyland this Thanksgiving, where she is eligible for the title of National American Miss.  A Dixon native and Davis High alum, she is so excited to be a part of this year's Grillin' and Chillin' Event.

Dixon’s Grillin & Chillin Car & Truck Show held on July 19, 2014. For more info log on to DixonRibCookOff.com
