Michaels, North America's largest arts and crafts specialty retailer, announces the grand opening of its new Vacaville store, featuring an inspiring new design, located at 1611-A E. Monte Vista Ave., on Feb. 9. The new store replaces a former location at 1051 Helen Power Drive.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 9:45 a.m., and doors open at 10 a.m. Michaels will be giving away more than $1,000 in gift cards and prizes hourly throughout the day. In addition, customers can win items for the whole family from the plinko prize board, which includes jewelry, art supplies, stickers and more, attendees can also capture the fun at the Michaels photo booth and share on social media using the hashtags #getcrafty #Vacaville.
The celebration continues throughout the entire week after the grand opening event with free in-store craft demos Monday through Friday from 6-8 p.m. Customers can enter to win a special gift basket all week long to be given away each evening. On Saturday, kids can explore their creativity with $2 kids club crafting events that continue all year long.
