Ugh! More Rain Over the Weekend

Anyone planning to go out this weekend might want to pack an umbrella as rain is forecast for both Friday and Saturday with a slight chance of rain on Sunday.

The National Weather Service also issued a flood advisory in all Solano County.  The heaviest downpour of rain is expected Thursday afternoon, the National Weather Service said.

“The heaviest rainfall is expected Thursday afternoon,” the National Weather Service said. "This may cause flooding in local streams and creeks. Local streams and creeks are expected to respond quickly to the rainfall with rapid rises. Expect similar rises to those seen last weekend. In addition, nuisance type flooding of underpasses, roadways and other low-lying areas is expected.”

But there is good news expected; The rain is expected to taper off by the beginning of the work week.

Friday Night: Rain likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 45. South southwest wind between 7 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Saturday: Rain. High near 57. South wind between 11 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
