More Rain on the Way This Weekend

Rain is forecast throughout the weekend, with chance of showers throughout the work week

The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for upper San Mateo County Friday, as wet, cold weather pounded Dixon.

Forecasts for Saturday call for a 60 percent chance of rain, but on the flipside, that leaves a 40 percent chance that the weekend will be dry.

While it will rain for most of Friday, here's what the National Weather Service says may happen during the next few days.

Saturday: Showers 60 percent likely, with thunderstorms also possible after 11 a.m. Some of the storms could produce small hail, and it will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 53 degrees.

Saturday Night: Showers 60 percent likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42 degrees.

Sunday: Showers 90 percent likely. High near 54 degrees.

Sunday Night: Showers 70 percent likely. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43 degrees.

Monday: Showers 60 percent likely. Partly sunny conditions with a high near 58 degrees.

Monday Night: A chance of showers with mostly cloudy conditions and a low around 44 degrees.

Tuesday: A chance of showers with partly sunny conditions with a high near 62 degrees.

Tuesday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy conditions with a low around 45 degrees.

Wednesday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny conditions with a high near 62 degrees.

Wednesday Night: A chance of showers. Cloudy conditions, with a low around 47 degrees.

Thursday: A chance of showers. Partly sunny conditions with a high near 64 degrees.
