Cutest Couple Contest, new content, Athlete of the Week and more

We kicked off the week with our popular feature. Our contributor Debra Dingman profiled Editor Brianna Boyd’s three cats – Lucy, Sammy and Molly.

Finally, we introduced our column in which we presented a variety of talking points for moms to chime in on. This feature is meant to create dialogue among moms in the community and should be used as a forum for mothers.

Last week we also rolled out our feature that profiles great restaurants to try in the Dixon area and our photo column that featured many different local photographs. Expect to see more features rolled out this week.

Last week we selected Dixon High School sophomore as the Dixon Patch . Dwelley’s averages about 14 points a game and helped propel the Lady Rams to victory over Lindhurst and Mesa Verde.

In other sporting news, we covered the DHS Rams Boys and Basketball squads as they faced off against West Campus in Dixon.

In our popular column, Bil Paul profiled the Mann Home that lies just north of Dixon United Methodist Church. Bil asked readers if they thought that the house looked haunted?
