Walmart Neighborhood Market, the newest chain of smaller, grocery-style Walmart Stores, will open tomorrow in Vacaville, one of 24 locations opening on July 17 across the nation.
The Walmart Neighborhood Market format is one-quarter the size of a Supercenter Walmart, offering quick and convenient shopping, with a full grocery department, including organic and natural selections. The store features prepared food options, fresh-baked breads, self-serve deli and a bakery.
The pharmacy offers a full range of products and services. Pharmacy team members can answer product and prescription questions and customers can ask about health and wellness solutions.

As part of the grand opening celebration, Walmart invites community members to join in a “Big Family Welcome”, from 10 AM- 3 PM; guests will have a chance to meet the store manager while enjoying activities and free food and beverage samples while supplies last.
The grand-opening celebration also includes presentations of $6,000 in grants from Walmart and the Walmart Foundation to local community groups. Recipients include California Shock Trauma Air Rescue, Solano County Farm Bureau, The Leaven, The Vacaville Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club, Vacaville Police Department, Vacaville Public Education Foundation and the Young Artists Conservatory of Music.

The new store is located at 941 Alamo Drive in the Golden Hills Plaza and is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week.
