Have you heard the buzz around town about a new coffee that will help you lose weight? One Dixon woman, Alisa Ramirez, has had a major hand in filling coffee mugs, with this ground floor, direct sales company, Javita gourmet coffee, throughout town.
In about two months, Ramirez has created a growing sales team of more than three dozen distributors, whom now spread from Northern California to Fresno, Ohio and Texas, and personally sells to around 40 people in town.
So what is Javita? The single-serving, instant coffee sticks, claim to help consumers loose 2-3x the weight than diet and exercise alone, containing Yerba Mate and Garcinia Cambogia, herbs touted by Dr. Oz last year. According to manufacturers, Garcinia Cambogia blocks fat from forming at a cellular level and suppresses your appetite, while Yerba Mate raises your core body temperature increasing caloric burn rate. The concept of adding these 2 ingredients to coffee was formulated by owner and CEO Stan Cherelstein, who began Javita marketing in 2011.Many Dixon residents have decided swapping out their typical morning cup of joe with Javita is worth a shot, and at about $1.60 a cup, it’s still cheaper than buying from a coffee bar.

Dozens are seeing inches and pounds coming off, claiming no exercise or diet style changes.
Javita customer, Kim Gorman says, “Had to put another hole in the belt, and put on a shirt I haven’t worn because it pulled on the buttons in the bust, but not anymore, I love this coffee!”

Distributor Alisson Lowrie joined the sales team after losing eight-pounds and three-inches from her waist in just four weeks, drinking one cup a day.
Ramirez began drinking Javita while recovering from knee surgery, not being able to workout, and has lost more than 10 pounds after hearing about it on Facebook from a friend in Texas.
