After another successful Grillin' and Chillin' event, the group has been rolling out donations to several local charities. "Country in the Hills" was recently handed over a check for their wreath laying project.

The committee, Mike Hamilton and Rich and Janette Barrango, presented a check in the amount of $1,500 to Curtis Stocking, in order to generate awareness and funds for the wreath-laying event to be held on Dec. 14, 2013, at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon.

The donation was made possible from the many people whom attended the Dixon’s Grillin & Chillin Car & Truck Show and bought raffle tickets at the car show booth.

"We want to thank everyone that attended the event and bought tickets," said Hamilton, inviting everyone to please join laying wreaths this December 14, 2013 at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery 5810 Midway Rd.
