Where's the Best Place in Dixon to Celebrate a Child's Birthday Party?

In this week's Readers' Choice category, we ask the users of Dixon Patch to help us find the best spot in Dixon to celebrate a child's birthday party.

Last week, we asked readers to help us decide which restaurant in Dixon makes the best Mexican cuisine. Readers -- through their comments, business reviews and poll votes -- decided that Maria's Mexican Restaurant is Dixon's best.

This week, we are asking our readers to help us decide which business in Dixon is the best place to have a children's birthday party.

We spread the word on our Facebook and Twitter feeds and got many good nominees.

Voting comes in a variety of forms: you can vote in the poll below, but the poll is not scientific and is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. You also weigh in by writing in the Comments section below and by rating and reviewing the restaurants on their Dixon Patch Places pages (links below).

Hint: The ratings and reviews count extra.

Here are some of our favorite places, but if we've left one off of the list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it:

  • Northwest Park (directory listing coming soon)

Voting is open until 9 a.m. Friday. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Go vote!

My daughter's birthday is early in October. Silveyville Pumpkin Patch was an incredibly inexpensive way for the kids to celebrate! Horse-drawn hay ride, pumpkin painting, the maze and multiple play areas. No set up, no clean up, no games to plan... just show up and let them do the work. We loved it!

Every Baking Moment is such a special place for the little ones (big ones too). You will never be sorry going here. Janis and her staff are so helpful and make you feel like you are at home.

Linde Lane Tea Room is great for Princess, Alice in Wonder Land, & Fancy Nancy Themed Parties. The atmosphere lends itself to many fantasy themes.

Lot's of great places these days. I would do a theme party at Every Baking Moment. Boys and girls love to cook and it's educational at the same time as fun, fun, fun.
