Travis Credit Union Pushes Forward With Moving Plans to Empty Chevy's Building

The planning commission has reviewed design plans for the new branch, and is expected to approve a drive-thru ATM at a meeting Oct. 15.

Travis Credit Union (TCU) moves forward on their revamp of the vibrant Chevy’s building, plans expected to be approved at the Oct. 15 Planning Commission meeting.

The design review was approved last month, however the commission was unable to vote on the proposed drive-thru ATM machine because too many of the commissioners in attendance are credit union members.

Since then, the it has been decided that three of the seven commissioners have no affiliation with the bank and will be able to vote on the project without conflict of interest.
