Travis Credit Union (TCU) moves forward on their revamp of the vibrant Chevy’s building, plans expected to be approved at the Oct. 15 Planning Commission meeting.
The design review was approved last month, however the commission was unable to vote on the proposed drive-thru ATM machine because too many of the commissioners in attendance are credit union members.
Since then, the it has been decided that three of the seven
commissioners have no affiliation with the bank and will be able to vote on the
project without conflict of interest.
TCU has proposed to move from their 1450 Ary Lane branch, sandwiched between Starbucks and Century 21, to 1470 Ary Lane, west of Mary’s Pizza Shack.
Plans to remodel the existing 6,313 sqft. building have been submitted to the City of Dixon, however officials say there are no projected construction dates set yet.
