News bits you can use

Mark your calendars for two upcoming Ribbon Cutting events and 95.3 KUIC Coffee Breaks. These events help welcome new business owners into our community and give other Chamber members a chance to meet the new business owners and/or staff. In turn, it is a great opportunity for a company to show off what its got!

Ribbon cuttings and coffee breaks are free for the public to attend and a good chance to receive grand opening specials as well as information on what the business is about. Here’s the scoop for this month’s hosts:

• Friday, February 11, at 10 a.m. the Dixon Toastmasters—improve speaking, listening, and leadership skills. The group will host the event at the Dixon Chamber of Commerce office, 220 N. Jefferson, across from the Methodist Church where the District 39 Toastmasters hold their meetings on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. Contact Roberta Beers (707) 301-2182or Susan Ash (707) 678-2068 for more information or go to www.dixontoastmasters.org.
