Core Fitness, which used to be Dixon Fitness is my favorite workout spot. Everyone is friendly. It's affordable, and the new gym is incredible.

Curves it's only 30 mins and can change your life. If you never have worked out or just can't find the time this is your place. There is also Zumba 5 hours a week to help change the workout. Next time you see me ask to see my muscles I only workout at Curves.

Ramtown Karate is by far my absolute FAVORITE place to work out. Being a Ramtown student for over ten years, it's become a second home to me. Everyone who goes to Ramtown forms a family like bond, and the atmosphere is amazing. Everyone is so encouraging and motivational! The classes are wonderful and really get you into shape! Individuals work out at their own pace, and it's great for adults, teens, children, and families. It's big, clean, and there are so many different workouts to try! :)

Ramtown Karate, if you want to be in the best shape of your life you come here. The atmosphere is very family oriented, the workouts are killer, and it's the best place to come to relieve stress. I vote Ramtown for best place to workout!

Didn't O'Reilly's just close on the other side of town? There's a 'for lease' sign on the building.

Great to see the 4th graders getting ready for their 5th grade camp at Alliance Redwoods. I took myRead More 6th graders there for many years and Alliance has an outstanding program that keeps the kids focused on environmental education and stewardship. The night hike through the redwoods was always their favorite (along with the zip line). Note: No need to bring snacks as the dining hall meals has everything you will need, but you may want to bring some extra money for the gift shop. Dan Mattingly/Retired Teacher

Thanks for the post Dean. The Dixon VFW has contributed several thousand dollars so far to bothRead More homes in Dixon and will be contributing a lot more in the future for these Vets. The housing program is managed by the North Bay Coummity Action Council (formerly known as the Fairfield/Suisun CAC). The Vets are very grateful for all the community support.
