Measure N is a NO, Morning View is a GO, Says Carissa Carpenter

Carissa Carpenter reported Wednesday morning that Morning View, LLC will resume progress with the movie studio in Dixon now that Measure N is out of their way.

Measure N was a no vote at the polls Tuesday, reporting 69.23% opposed at midnight on Wednesday.

After hitting the brakes on progress towards a movie studio in Dixon because of legal concerns with Measure N, Morning View LLC says they will be calling land owners this week to open escrow for property acquisition.

"We are so proud of the Dixon community. They are some really smart people," says Carissa Carpenter, Chairman of Morning View LLC, after learning Measure N had been voted down by nearly two-thirds vote. "They looked beyond the headlines and read what the measure was actually about."

Carpenter said the Measure set their progress back two months, after paying a lot to expedite things early on, but says, "That's okay, we are ready and happy to move forward now."

Dixon Patch will have updates on the movie studios progress, town hall meetings, and further information as it is things progress.
