My kids came home from their first day of school Wednesday, most excited about one thing, a rumor that In-N-Out was building a Dixon location.
I had heard the same rumor, so a quick call to City Manager Jim Lindsey cleared up any lingering question.
The answer is no. Dixon will not be home to In-N-Out anytime soon.
"Unfortunately, no," Lindley said, "corporate In-N-Out was not convinced Dixon would generate enough traffic for the location [Market & Ary area] that had been proposed."
Sorry Dixonites, you'll have to head to Vacaville or Davis still for your animal style, protein burgers.
