Free Coffee at 7-Eleven on Friday (and a Chance to Pick Obama or Romney)

It's CofFREE Day! Free large coffee and a chance to pick an Obama or Romney cup for your coffee.

7-Eleven stores will be giving away free large coffees from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on on Friday. We've listed some nearby stores below.

The mini-mart is promoting Friday’s event with the tagline, “Get your steaming hot cup of democracy. Grab a cup of hot, fresh coffee and cast your vote.”

You'll be able to choose a container of your choosing: a blue Obama cup or a red Romney cup. The company’s 7-Election website will keep tabs on who is winning.

Online users can see which nominee is currently ahead in the 7-Election by clicking here. At press time, the national 7-Election map is very blue, and California is reporting 61 percent of coffee drinkers choosing Obama cups compared to just 39 percent preferring Romney red.

Some nearby stores 7-Elevens include:

  • 7-Eleven on L Street in Davis
  • 7-Eleven on N Street in Dixon

Any undecided voters out there who aren't ready to make this decision while buying tomorrow morning's coffee? Could be stressful!
