Do Your Holiday Shopping in Downtown Dixon Friday Night

The City of Dixon shared the following message on their Facebook page Thursday: 

Many merchants in Downtown Dixon will offer residents an opportunity to keep their holiday monies working for them locally by staying open late for shopping this Friday and many will offer free gift wrapping on purchases as well.

The Friday evening hours are part of the Downtown Dixon Business Association’s ‘3rd on First Plus’ promotion which provides residents and visitors to shop before or after their dinner out in downtown Dixon as local merchants stay open later on the third Friday of each month. The merchants have been asked to be open at least till 8 pm or whatever they could do and have bright green signs posted in their windows if they are participating with special sales or discounts.
