Chamber to Install New Board of Directors

Cher Besneatte Re-Elected, Four Directors Start New Term

Dedicated business leaders and volunteers who actively work together to advocate for our town and Dixon businesses comprise the Dixon Chamber of Commerce and five of them have been elected by their peers to serve on the Board of Directors.

A special luncheon at Cattlemen’s on January 12 will see  them duely installed for their three-year terms. They are Cher Besneatte from Curves of Dixon who is returning to serve another term, Sandy Bonesteel of the Dixon May Fair, Loren Dougherty of Alpha Alarm and Audio, Teresa Schilling from Travis Credit Union, and Sarah Villec from the Dixon Tribune.

They will join Board Members Bert Gaulke of the Dixon Moose Lodge, Jack Caldwell from California Water Company, Kay Cayler, an independent associate, and Kevin of Century 21 Real Estate Office and Donny Everhart of Dixon Financial and Insurance Services.

Chamber Directors are not allowed to serve more than two consecutive terms which means long timers Sandy Sanders and Jill Orr will be coming off the Board. Both have also served as Chamber Presidents.

Don Ritchey, who has served as a Chamber Ambassador this past year was elected by his peers to serve as Chief Ambassador for 2012.
