Tonight's Chamber Mixer Hosted by Waddell & Reed; Kiwanis

Monthly Networking Opportunity Offers Business Connections

From 5 to 7pm tonight, the Dixon Chamber of Commerce will hold it's monthly Business Mixer hosted by Waddell and Reed Financial Advisor James Slaughter and the Dixon Kiwanis Club.

Mixers have provided a way for business people to connect and gather resources to grow business. They have been going on in Dixon for about 30 years. This one will be held at The Happy Ranch, a small farm at 7732 Serpa Lane off Dixon Avenue West (West A Street.)

Slaughter is also a member of the Dixon Kiwanis Club. The group will have flyers about their organization and a display of the mission to serve children. Their plaque for People's Choice Christmas Tree from their annual Festival of Trees will also be on display. The annual Festival of Trees is each December and benefits local children, the Kiwanis Family House, and Dixon High School student scholarships.
