The Dixon area was shaken by an earthquake Thursday night.
The US Geological Survey reported a 5.7 magnitude earthquake at 8:47 p.m. about 7 miles away from Greenville, in Plumas County near Susanville.
A 3.5-magnitude quake was reported in the same area 8 minutes later.
