Dixon’s Teen Center will celebrate the end of the school year by offering a “School’s Out Barbeque and Concert” on Friday, May 31st from 6 to 10 p.m. All Dixon teens from the 7th through the 12th grades are welcome, along with those who will enter the 7th grade in the fall.
The center is located in the former high school’s all-purpose room just off East ‘A’ Street along North 4th Street. The school’s address is 455 East ‘A” Street.
Live and DJ music will liven up things. Alexander Ortiz, a solo hip hop artist, and Your Second Choice, an alternative rock band, will perform live. Adding to that, DJs Jassan Sabbagh and Cody Singer will play the latest popular music.
