I took the opportunity to wander down to the last night to partake in some pinball madness.
It's all going down at Pin-a-Go-Go, a pinball show and flea market where pinball lovers gather and play some pins.
There are close to 200 machines at this event, all being operated on freeplay. We had a blast last night playing some of the more obscure pinball machines, such as one based on country-western superstar Dolly Parton, and some pinball machines that are more technologically-advanced such as Super Mario Brothers.
I didn't get a chance to play the Indiana Jones pinball machine, but I did play the one based on Star Wars. Fun times!
Pin-a-Go-Go is more than just an event for pinballers, it's a fundraiser that benefits our very own . The Teen Center is a great community resource that helps teenagers find safe, fun and cool things to do in town.
Have you been to this event yet? What is your favorite pinball. Gates close at midnight today and open back up at 8 a.m. A pinball tourney is planned for today, classes/seminars are planned tomorrow.
