Vacaville Museum, 213 Buck Avenue, Vacaville, (707) 447-4513 will be ending next weekend its Gallery Exhibition of ‘Africa We Connect’ so don’t miss it! This exhibit explores how we as a community connect to Africa through art, photographs, personal experiences, and memorabilia. Family Engineering Days  - February 19-20 at the Discovery Museum. There is a free craft for youth 12 and under. Planetarium shows at 1 and 3 p.m. are included with admission for children age 4 and above only. Live animal shows at noon and 2 p.m. for all ages. UC Davis Arboretum, Davis - Free public tours of 100 acres of gardens and land. Trained docents lead free public tours of the Arboretum on weekends during the academic year (late-September to mid-June). Each tour focuses on a particular collection, garden, or theme. Tours may focus on home gardening, landscape design, a particular garden or collection, local history, or other interest of the group. The fee for a group tour is $2 per person ($30 minimum). • Free Folk Music Jam Session Friday, February 18, 12–1 p.m., Wyatt Deck , UC Davis Arboretum. Folk musicians are invited to bring their acoustic instruments—fiddles, guitars, banjos, mandolins, squeeze boxes, you name it—and play together informally over the lunch hour. All skill levels are welcome, and listeners are invited.
