Dixon May Fair Presale Tickets Save Big Bucks

The May Fair is next week, get your presale tickets so that you can save some cash.

Presale tickets for the Dixon May Fair are on sale at the Fair office daily through Tuesday, May 8th, and offer substantial savings when compared to the regular gate prices during the event.

Full price admissions at the gate are $12 for adults, $7 for kids ages 5-12, and $8 for seniors age 60 and up, while presale prices are $7 for adults, and $7 for seniors. Carnival pay-one-price wristbands are $24 in advance, a savings of $5 from the $29 price on site.

Presale tickets are available Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th, 10 am until 2 pm. Tickets will also be available at the Fair's box office Monday and Tuesday, May 7th and 8th, from 8:30 am until 7 pm. The Fair accepts cash, Mastercard, and Visa.

Major concerts at the 2012 Dixon May Fair include Snoop Dogg on May 9th, the English Beat on May 10th, Kellie Pickler and Phil Vassar on May 11th, and Larry the Cable Guy on May 12th. The traditional demolition derby will take place on May 13th. Tickets for all arena events are available at dixonmayfair.com. Fair admission is included with all arena admissions.

The Dixon May Fair will feature a "soft opening" on Wednesday, May 9th, with event gates opening at 4pm. The Butler Amusements carnival will be open that evening and some food concessions will be operating. Gates for the concert arena open at 6pm all nights except Sunday, May 13th, when arena gates open
at 5pm.

Do the carnival pay-one-price wristbands get you in during the entire May Fair? Does this also include access to the concerts? Thanks!

Kelly it's my understanding that the concerts and destruction derby tix are separate and can be purchased online. The wristband is a daily rate, I believe. Hope that helps!
