I-80 Solano Ramp Metering Project
Since April, crews have widened ramps, installed ramp meters, and installed closed circuit TV cameras at approximately 60 sites along 25-miles of I-80 from Vallejo to Vacaville. The $12.8 million project is scheduled to be completed in spring 2014. Caltrans and several agencies including the Solano Transportation Agency (STA) are still determining when to activate ramp meters in Solano County.
