SPCA Offers SomeBUNNY to Love

This might be a very special Easter lesson

 This week, the 'Mother of All Deals' people scoured our local sources to come up with great deals on meals, ice cream, a petting ranch, homework help, and yes, even bunnies.

 

1. Sacramento SPCA along with the City of Sacramento Animal Care Services and the Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation Agency.

Deal:  The three organizations are celebrating the Year of the Rabbit with a ‘Find SomeBUNNY to love’ half-off rabbit adoption special (Reduced rate of $20.) They need to find homes for more than 400 rabbits and will provide education for the new owners. All rabbits have been spayed or neutered. 2. Dixon

Deal:  On Tuesdays, children age 12 and under eat free when an adult purchases a regularly priced entrée. The offer is good for dinner, 5-10 p.m.

Good through: Until the next, great special. 

 

3. Solano County Library Solano Kids Program

Deal:  Free homework help from online tutors every day, 1- 10 p.m. Most asked for homework topics are: California Missions, States, Countries, Animals, and Science. Call the Library at 1-866-572-7587. Go to www.solanolibrary.com/kids for more information.

Good through:  As long as the volunteers keep offering their help!

 

4. Dixon’s Baskin Robbins Ice Cream

Deal:  On Tuesday evenings, ice cream cones are$1 per scoop and you have a choice of regular or sugar cones from 6 -10 p.m.

Good through: Until we are all rolling around!

 

5. The Happy Ranch, 7732 Serpa Lane, Dixon

Deal:  Free admission. A great place to learn about what happens on a ranch. Reservations are required in advance by calling Don Ritchey at (707) 592-9203. Children can pet some animals such as a miniature horse and miniature burros to name a few while others they can see like guinea pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, and alpacas. You are welcome to bring a lunch and enjoy a visit.
