Free Summer Saturday Activities Begin at Nut Tree Village in Vacaville


A summer series of free Saturday events begin this weekend at Vacaville's Nut Tree Village, hosted by the Academy of 21st Century Learning, Michael’s, Blake Austin College and Peet’s Coffee & Tea.

The fun will take place every Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon in the Nut Tree Plaza, and will include educational and science activities with theme-related crafts offered by Michael’s, a face-painting station by the professionals of Blake Austin College and Peet’s will provide drink samples for parents.

The first event -- this Saturday, June 21 -- will be "Frogs and The Vast Ocean," which ties in with the weekly camps offered June through August at The Academy.
