Free Adoptions at the Solano County Animal Shelter this Month

The Solano County Animal Rescue Foundation will pay for all adoptions from the Solano County Animal Shelter during the month of December 2012.

Adoptions at the Solano County Animal Shelter will be free during the month of December, thanks to the Solano County Animal Rescue Foundation, according to the Solano County Sheriff's office. 

Here are the details: 

SCARF is a non-profit foundation operated by a group of volunteers with the Solano County Animal Shelter. SCARF provides education, assistance with low-cost spay/neuter clinics, and placement of homeless animals into permanent and loving homes. SCARF facilitates adoption events at a variety of locations in Solano County and also cares for “special needs” animals.

SCARF will pay for all adoptions from the Solano County Animal Shelter during the month of December 2012. To view adoptable pets online please visit: www.solanocountyanimalshelter.com. The shelter is located at 2510 Clay Bank Road, Fairfield, and the hours of operation are:

Tuesday-Fridays: 10am-6pm
Saturdays: 9am-5pm
Closed on Sundays, Mondays, & County holidays
