The next course will begin tonight, July 19, 6:30 to 9pm and is designed for couples expecting to birth in September or early October. Both first time parents and 'subsequent' parents can learn how to relax through the forces of labor, learn how to communicate better with their partner, and learn to make birthing plans with their health care professionals.
Each class helps build a circle of support with other couples as well as dispel myths and calm anxieties one might have about childbirth or parenting. Classes are informal and refreshments are served during the break.
