Annual Steak Dinner Fundraiser Set at Dixon VFW Post 8151
$20 tickets, and all for a very good cause!
The Dixon Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8151 is hosting its 17th Annual Fundraiser Steak Dinner on Saturday, April 19 at the Veterans Memorial Hall with a 6 p.m. no-host social hour and a 7 p.m. dinner.
Also planned a raffle with 50 donated items.
Dinner tickets are a $20 donation, and available from VFW Post members Steve Alexander, Russ Cayler, Mike Hagerman, Bill Lower, Dan Mattingly and Dan Schaeffer or you can contact Post Commander Brock McMahon at 678-8286.

2013 Donations to Veterans and Community Programs:
- $9,942 to Veterans Assistance Programs (Dixon Veterans Transitional Housing Program, North Bay Stand Down, Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Travis Fisher House, USO North Bay, Veterans Wheel Chair Games, and Yountville Veterans Home).
- $2,990 to Community Support & Youth Development Programs (Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year Dinner, Dixon Dolphins Swim Team, Dixon Family Services, Dixon Little League, Dixon Toys for Tots, Mayfair Parade, Rotary Club July 4th Fireworks Event, Senior Health Fair, Solano County Youth Ag Day, Travis Civil Air Patrol, and Vanden High School JROTC Awards).
