The City of Dixon is looking for volunteers to help plant trees at Veterans Park on November 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The City of Dixon received ten trees from a California Department of Forestry CAL FIRE grant and will be hosting a tree planting day on Tuesday, November 26th from 10:00am-12:00pm.
The City is looking for volunteers to come and bring their gloves and shovels to help plant the ten trees at Veterans Park. Each volunteer will be required to sign a volunteer waiver; volunteers under 18 years of age will require parent consent. The event will run if it is sprinkling and will cancel if it rains.
