Not only ugly, but name on street sign is different than sign on building. Cheap looking andRead Moresloppy . Doesn't look like the kind of place I want to shop.

I agree the sign is ugly. I also agree with the person who said look to Winters for developmentRead Moregui dence. I grew up in Davis and moved to Winters in 1973. At that time it was just a small town that hadn't changed in years. I left there in 1978 with it still looking the same. But that can't be said anymore. Winters has done it right. A charming well planned community. Very attractive and a destination town today. Dixon hasn't changed since I was a kid. It lools almost exactly the same as it did in 1960. It has great potential being along side I-80 and could be a really interesting place to come to. I moved here in 2009 to be closer to my kids and quickly learned there is nothing here. To do anything I have to go somewhere else. Dixon is a bedroom community while all around Dixon towns are growing.

Our city counsel doesn't seem to be making the right choice for our town! First they decide toRead Morebuild a underpass which was extremely unnecessary just another place for crime to happen then they add another liquor store? Who is giving these people their jobs? We hire you to expect council to make the towns future brighter. There is no use for a liquor store in Dixon its a small town already what makes your think that 3 are needed. As a teenager struggling to find a summer job it would have been a huge blessing seeing a restaurant or a store that could give me the opportunity to apply for a job but now that cant happen because our great town council makes great decisions.
